My name is Alex. I had lived my whole life with two male first names making up my name and now I have married into another male first name. The Armchair Crossing is all about life from my armchair and beyond here, in my little corner of the world wide web.

I love to write. I don’t write for my job… yet. I am a wannabe travel writer and editor. In real life I’ve just started a business with my husband and am now learning new things every day as a Social Media Manager. Ex makeup artist (can’t remember why I stopped.) Lover of photography. Extremely amateur photographer. Fan of choc chip anything. Wine appreciation. Much appreciation for a perfect mani. Dreamer.

Wife. Daughter. Sister. Sister in law. Aunty. Cousin. Second cousin. Friend. Sometimes I call my husband The Designer because, well, he is one.

There will be bright lights, big cities, open countryside, pretty beaches, champagne, flooring options and lipstick. It’s a free for all attitude here at The Armchair Crossing and I’m so happy you’re here to share it with me.

Welcome aboard!

  1. Nice to read a little more about you. I think we are on a similar path? Writing and stories are an important part of my life too. I am really pleased you found us at Write On Wednesday and am looking forward to reading more from you.

    • I have enjoyed reading a little more about you too and I feel as though I have had some ‘what, you too!’ moments. I agree, we’re on a similar path – word love, impulse buying and questionable time management. I love words and I am loving the writing community behind Write on Wednesdays…
