After two days docked in Kauai’s Nawilili Harbor our ship set sail at about 2pm bound for Honolulu but not before cruising round Kauai’s incredible Nā Pali coastline. We bagged a couple of lounges by the Waikiki pool, ordered a terrible Mai Tai which had orange and cinnamon in it for some reason and which I didn’t drink, replacing it with a glass of sparkling then watched some of the most amazing landscape with seen through our own eyes unfold ahead of us.
The rugged cliffs with emerald peaks fall suddenly and heavily into the sea while waterfalls snake through narrow valleys and the clouds sit like a hat on top of the mountains. Sound like something from a fantasy land? It basically is. Really, you’ll see. I’ll let these photos do the talking.
